Tour Overview

We will meet you at Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport and drive you to your hotel in Arusha. This is where you’ll get settled and ready for what’s to come.

In the evening we will have an in-depth trek briefing at your hotel where you will be introduced to your guide and team. This is a great time to review the itinerary, ask questions, and make sure you’re prepared. We’ll also go over your gear together and assist you in renting anything you may need.

Day by day

Day 1: Arusha (1400 m) – Miriakamba Hut (2500 m)

First day of your 4 Days Mount Meru Trekking after early morning breakfast in Arusha (1400 m), you will be picked up from your hotel and brought to the Momella Gate in Arusha National Park. At this time, the porters will organize and pack the belongings for the hike while you and your guide register with the Tanzania National Park (TANAPA). You will then begin your ascent in Arusha National Park. The first day of hiking is similar to a walking safari; you should expect to see giraffes, zebras, antelope, buffalo, and potentially elephants near the trail. Due to the high possibility of spotting wildlife, an armed ranger, hired through the National Park, is required to hike with our team for the duration of the hike. As you continue hiking, you will pass the Ngarenanyuki River and a beautiful waterfall at the base of Mt. Meru. Upon arriving at Miriakamba Hut (2500 m), your chef will prepare a hot dinner and washing water for you. Enjoy the beautiful sunset and overnight

Day 2: Miriakamba Hut (2500 m) – Saddle Hut (3500 m)

Embark on an extensive Full-day game drive to Serengeti National Park, exploring the park en route and continuing with an afternoon game drive. This full-day adventure promises a deep immersion into the park’s wildlife and natural beauty.

Serengeti National Park is famous and one of the largest national parks in Tanzania, with an area of 14,763 square km. Serengeti is home to abundant wildlife

Indulge in a delightful dinner and enjoy a restful overnight stay at the exclusive Harmony Safari Camp, where you will be treated to full board service, ensuring a comfortable and memorable experience.

Day 3: Saddle Hut (3500 m) – Summit Attempt (4566 m) – Miriakamba Hut (2500 m)

Heading to Ngorongoro for a safari game drive down the crater floor, then late afternoon on your way to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Trees Inn entire board

Ngorongoro is a multiple land use area where the Maasai, who are pastorals, share the same ecosystem with wild animals; the area is part of the Serengeti ecosystem in the north and northwest of the Ndutu region, where between December and April is the best time to see the calving of wildebeest and zebras.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken and non-flooded caldera in the world; the main attraction of Ngorongoro is the crater, which formed after the large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself and formed a caldera

Day 4: Miriakamba Hut (2500 m) – Arusha (1400 m)

After a long rest and breakfast, we will begin our final descent to Momella Gate. We will hike through forests and meadows where it is likely to spot wildlife.

We will also pass through the astonishing Fig tree Arch.At the base of Mt. Meru, you will be greeted by our driver who will take you back to Arusha Marking the end of your 4 Days Mount Meru Trekking
