The Camp is In Seronera, the center of the Serengeti, ideal for Safaris in all regions of the National Park. Located in a beautiful setting with a view of the plains and valleys and is surrounded by wildlife.

Ang’ata means Wilderness in Maa, the language of the Maasai, it is also a region of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area called Ang’ata Kiti situated near Nasira Rock, a rich grass plain sandwiched between the Gol Mountains to the south and the slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater to the north

A large camp with 12 large Guest tents including a 2 tent Family unit, a lounge, and a dining tent. Each guest tent has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, vanity desk, and flush toilets. Depending on request a Kingsize bed or 2 Twin beds are available. The lounge is the place to meet other travelers and share your day’s Safari stories while enjoying a complementary cup of Tanzanian Coffee or Tea. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are served in the dining tent, freshly prepared by our Chefs daily. Bush TV (local name for campfire) is lit when the weather permits.

Camp Location

Set up in Seronera, the central region of the Serengeti National Park, the camp allows easy game drives to most of the Serengeti’s regions. In a day’s drive, you can reach Moru Kopjes and the Maasai Kopjes with the rock paintings and N’gong Rocks to the south, Grummeti River and the Western corridor, Retima Hippo Pool and even the Lobo area to the north or explore Turner Springs to the west if you have already scouted the Seronera region. Nearby situated are the Serengeti Visitors Center, Research Center, and Frankfurter Zoological Society Serengeti Headquarters. Seronera Airstrip is 15 min drive away.
