Intimate Camp Seronera is located at the heart of the world-famous Serengeti National Park and is operational all year around.

The perennial waters of the Sero River are a major draw for most of the animals to be found in the Serengeti National Park and these inhabit the area year-round thereby providing some of the best game viewing experiences to be found anywhere on the planet.

In addition, the Wildebeest migration which is one of the “Seven Natural Wonders of Africa” as well as the single largest mass movement of animals on the planet normally passes through the camp in May and November each year.

The camp incorporates both a lounge tent as well as a dining tent. The lounge tent is furnished with comfortable settees and armchairs complete with a selection of Coffee table books, board games, a writing bureau, and wireless internet connectivity to ensure that your every need is catered for when you are not out enjoying game drives. The dining tent provides for individual as well as group dining and is home to a well-stocked bar serving a selection of premium spirits, wines, beers, minerals, and mineral water. Guests may also enjoy their meals al-fresco in the camp’s grounds. Evenings are spent around the all-important campfire enjoying drinks and bitings whilst exchanging stories about the day’s events and making plans for the day ahead. and wireless internet connectivity to ensure that our guest’s every need is catered to when they are not out enjoying game drives

Accommodation

Intimate Camp Seronera consists of 11 accommodation tents which include two-bedroomed family tents, each of which can be used for single, double (or twin), or triple occupancy. Due to the generous size of each tent, quadruple occupancy may also be requested.

Each sleeping tent consists of a verandah, bedroom area, dressing area, and en suite shower and toilet. Toilets are of the normal flush type and showers are fully plumbed with hot and cold running water.

As an added convenience, each tent is supplied with electricity for lighting as well as for charging mobile telephones, cameras, tablets, laptop computers, or any other electronic devices you may carry with you. This electricity is harvested from the sun’s rays via a solar system as indeed is the camp’s hot water supply.
