Tarangire Simba Lodge is a beautiful tented-style lodge with only 16 tents It is located right on the edge of Tarangire National Park and is a sure favorite as elephants and other wildlife often visit the watering hole at the lodge.
Tarangire Simba Lodge currently boasts eight spacious canvas safari tents under thatch sitting on platforms with wooden floors. The tents are en-suite with an attached dressing room, toilet, and an indoor and outdoor shower. Each tent has a private veranda with views of the surrounding bush. Furnishings are handcrafted from African hardwood complimented with tastefully selected fabrics. Electricity and hot water are solar-powered.
The Lodge has a nice setup! There’s a welcoming reception area and comfy lounge and dining rooms made of canvas on raised platforms. The dining room serves continental food, and they’ve got a full bar. Wooden walkways connect everything, and there’s even an outdoor dining deck. You can stay connected with Wi-Fi in common areas, and they’ve got a spot to charge your devices. Plus, there’s a cool swimming pool and a platform in an acacia tree for watching wildlife and stars. Nice spot for a relaxing time!
