Serengeti Sopa Lodge

Serengeti Sopa Lodge is located when you Pass through Naabi gate and turn left, heading southwest to the Nyarboro Hills.  This area of Serengeti is wildlife-rich and is on one of the many migration highways.

Part of the Sopa family of lodges, this 73-bed lodge is set in acacia woodland on top of a fabulous hillside, offering commanding views over the plains below. Unlike the other Sopa Lodges, the building has a flat roof rather than a conical shape.  Large floor-to-ceiling windows deliver expansive views of Serengeti from various corners of the lodge.

The lodge is bright, colorful, and fun, the pool is fantastic, and for a large lodge, we think it has character.  The staff are incredibly friendly some of whom have been working there for years.

There are 73 rooms in total, 4 of which are suites.

They are furnished with locally-inspired fabrics and pictures, carpeted, and with 2 queen-sized beds. There is a lounge area with a mini bar and all rooms have en suite bathrooms with hair dryers.

In front of the room is a private veranda offering stunning views of the surrounding plains.

The 4 spacious double-story suites have a ground-floor lounge area and an upstairs bedroom with a king-size bed on a raised wooden platform and bathtub facing the plains below.

They are a bit special and there is an outside open shower to add to your bathing delights.
